The dream is still there...

Well, my dream is still there.....part of it is in a box....still unopened....on the floor....in the dining room... Yep...my new quilting frame arrived and is still unopened. My future sewing/quilting room is partially cleaned out but lots more to do. In addition, painting is going on throughout the house so I'm in limbo until all projects are finished. I'm involved also in a wedding scheduled for June so that is taking some precedence over my lovely quilt dreams. I did buy fabrics for my first big quilt project, and I can hardly wait to start. The dining room table will become my cutting surface as soon as the painting is finished when the rain stops and the humidity gets way lower.

Getting Started

I'm just starting on my quilting dreams. The first is owning a quilting frame...ordered the Grace Z44...check. The second is owning a quilt top to quilt...purchased...thank you, ebay...check. The third is finding the batting, thread, etc. currently packed away in the garage...in progress..... The fourth is cleaning out the room formerly known as the "game room" in the basement so my quilting can have a permanent home...will start soon...... The fifth will be putting the first stitch in my first quilt...coming to a quilting frame near me...stay tuned....
